To play with expectations, speculations and disgust:

Is it hair or not? If yes, whose hair is it? What's the story of the actual hair owner?

Why would I hang hair from another person around my neck?

Does it feel like hair? Can I touch it?

 

I really like hair and all about it.

Because I didn't want to use real hair from a real person, I decided to work with a substitute material: Hemp resembles blond hair, but in all other aspects it is very different. Already the smell of hemp is exceptional and stings in the nose. Even after washing it several times, the smell wouldn't go away. Also the structure of hemp is different compared with hair. Hemp breaks easily, is dry and tickles your skin due to its rough surface.
